Midway Animal Hospital receives $10,000 Nationwide Donation

As a result of Minnow winning the 2019 Hambone Award, Midway Animal Hospital of Alpharetta, Georgia will receive the $10,000 Nationwide-funded award through the Veterinary Care Foundation to treat pets whose owners could not otherwise afford veterinary care.

After being lost for 21 days, Minnow returned home and was treated by the incredible veterinary staff at Midway Animal Hospital, who nursed her back to health after suffering from a broken rib and dehydration.

Nationwide would like to thank all five veterinary hospitals that treated the 2019 Hambone Award® nominees. All pets nominated for the Hambone Award have made full recoveries and received insurance reimbursements for eligible expenses.
