According to Nationwide members Gabriel G. and Zoe Q., they didn’t come up with their ferret's name so much as it was delivered to them from beyond the veil:

It was then I knew that I would forever be in her Thrall, and I would be honored to rally my banners in her name hereafter. Or feed her tiny, freeze-dried minnows. Regnant's choice.”
The two pet parents continue, simultaneously talking in eerie concert, “Born the dark childe of a dread god of Faerun, she bears a deep, enigmatic aura that others instinctively feel—but can never fully comprehend. One moment she’s frolicking through the house, chasing after shadows; the next, she’s silently observing, her eyes glinting with a hint of ancient, untold power. Whether it’s stealing your car keys or darting into places no ferret should, she leaves behind an unsettling sense that she's not just an ordinary ferret. Maybe... just maybe... she has a destiny to fulfill.”
They continue as the lights flicker and dim, “As her loyal vassal, it is my duty to protect my dark empress from her enemies and the sniffles alike. It is my honor to be a bulwark between the Haunted One and any misfortunes that could befall her, and pet insurance is a valued spear in her unholy arsenal.”
